What are the responsibilities of a Tent Team Lead in May?
A Tent Team Lead serves as the point person for raising and leading a prayer tent in their city on May 23. You are not expected to do this alone—we provide the training, tools, and covering. Your role is to steward what’s been entrusted to you locally.
City Tent Team Leads commit to:
Provide or help raise $500 to cover the prayer tent, supplies, and national coordination
Recruit a local team (typically 2–4 additional people) to serve alongside you
Pray with and for your team, cultivating unity, humility, and spiritual readiness
Attend required training and activation calls prior to May 23
Communicate key dates, times, and expectations clearly with your team
Lead the tent on May 23, creating a prayer-first, welcoming environment for people in your community
Model our culture of prayer, listening, and Spirit-led Gospel conversations in everyday spaces
For pastors and church leaders, this role can function as a missional extension of your church—a way to activate and disciple people in real-world Gospel conversations without adding another ongoing program to your calendar.
You don’t need to be an expert evangelist. You simply need to be available, prayerful, and willing to lead with humility and obedience. We’ll walk with you every step of the way.
